Coats & Bennett is proud to announce that one of its owners, Attorney William G. Pagán, has joined the faculty at NC Central University School of Law as an Adjunct Professor of Law. He will be teaching Contracts to first and second year law students participating in Central Law’s widely-acclaimed evening program.
“Central Law’s evening program provides a critical service to the community, allowing exceptionally dedicated professionals to reinvent themselves without having to abandon their livelihoods or existing careers,” said Attorney Pagán. “Our firm owes much of its success to Central’s evening program. In fact, three of the firm’s seven owners, including me and our managing partner, are proud graduates of Central’s evening program. So, when Central asked me to return to the law school and become part of the team helping the next generation of evening students achieve the best version of themselves, I jumped at the chance.”
Mentorship has always been a focus of Attorney Pagán’s career. With over a decade of private practice experience and over 25 years of professional experience, he hopes to be a resource not only for academic instruction, but for professional guidance as well.
“I know personally what it’s like to juggle a career and a family while trying to better yourself through education at the same time,” said Attorney Pagán. “My mother went to college and law school at night when I was a kid too. These hardworking students are doing something that is truly exceptional, and I can’t wait to be part of their success story.”
